Clemson University's Health Science Program, part of the Department of Public Health Sciences, has been nationally recognized as an exemplary program in public health and does an exceptional job of preparing its students to enter the healthcare field. Students graduate with a solid background in both core science courses, such as biology and chemistry, as well as courses involving the broader picture of healthcare, such as the organization of healthcare systems and the determinants of health behavior. The Clemson Health Science web page can be found here.

For the Health Science 419- Pre-Internship Preparation Course as well as the Health Science 420- Internship Course, a number of assignments and documents were required. Included in these were an Informational Interview, a Career PowerPoint, and a Public Health Determinants and Trends Project. These documents are included in the drop down menu under the Health Science tab found at the top of the page.
